PARADISE CALLED OLYMPOS

The English specialists named Olympos Beach in Kemer as
the Hidden Paradise not different than an open air museum.
The famous Olympos Beach with its burning fire, has been elected
as the magnificent holiday destination. After 3 years research, English specialists managed to find out the tips of a perfect holiday destination with a nice coast line. Within the research, amongst the beaches in the UK , Malta and Turkey , Olympos Beach won the race. There were 100 holiday makers involved in this research who have been asked to compare these beaches.

These beaches have been marked from 1 to 5 within 28 categories.

The following categories helped Olympos Beach to win the race –the surrounding of the beach, the colour of the sea, cleanliness of the area, the sewage system for the holiday complexes and the bird eye view of the beach.

Alan Williams from Glamorgan University was leading this research and Olympos Beach in Kemer has been elected as the best coastline for the for a holiday.

Olympos Beach is 3200 m long and one of the most important places for the birth of caretta caretta.

Olympos was an ancient city built in 15 century BC and managed to survive until 15 century AC. This ancient city lies between 2 valleys. Olympos can be reached on foot in an hour from Olympos. The mountain is called YANAR (which can be translated as burning) by the locals due to the fact that there is a non-stop burning fire since centuries. The natural gas keeps the flames going up into the sky.
